Well, my book Maker Lab (called Home Lab in the UK) has skyrocketed up to number 72 in the amazon.com bestsellers list, all thanks to Kim Kardashian’s model sister Kendall Jenner! Kendall bought the book for Kim’s daughter North’s fourth birthday – and she even bought the ingredients for each of her four favourite activities from the book. It’s great publicity, and although four years old is perhaps a little younger than the book’s target audience, it’s never too young to start experimenting and making things, as far as I’m concerned. Elle magazine called Kendall’s gesture a feminist act, since it promotes girls (well, a girl) getting involved in STEM. Any age, any gender, get involved, get curious. That’s what I say.
