A few weeks ago, my daughter and I did an impromptu dissection of a fish (which we called ‘Simon’). Before we started, we looked at a book to find out where a fish’s major organs are. We took photographs while we were doing the dissection, and I have put some of those photographs here, organised into two galleries. Firstly, a not-very-visceral one, which does not have much blood-guts-and-gore, and secondly, one that should probably be avoided by people who do not like the sight of blood!
